There will be a meeting of the Mid Dorset and North Poole Constituency Labour Party at 7.30pm on Thursday 27th February at Sandford Labour Club.

Sandford Labour Club is the last building on the right at the end of Keysworth Drive, which is a left turn off the A351 main road through Sandford (if coming from the Poole direction). There is plenty of parking in front of and behind the building

This month’s book is A Quiet Word by Tamasin Cave & Andy Rowell.

This book, published in 2015, is about how large corporations use political lobbying to defend their interests.

The AGM of the Mid Dorset and North Poole Constituency Party will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 29th January at the Community Learning and Resource Centre (CLaRC) in Wimborne at 41-44 King Street, Wimborne. Please note that the entrance to CLaRC is within the King Street Pay and Display car park (behind the Minster).

This will be followed at 8.00 pm by a Nomination meeting for Leader and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

Street stalls are cancelled this morning to pay respect to the two people who lost their lives yesterday in London as a result of the terrorist attack on London Bridge.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Entry: £8 (to include a “chip shop” supper) or £5 (without food or bring your own). Payment and menu choices on the door.

The focus of this meeting will be planning the rest of the General Election campaign in Wareham, Upton & Lytchett, but all members of the Mid Dorset and North Poole Constituency Labour Party are welcome to attend this meeting.

The venue is the Labour Club in Sandford.

This replaces the scheduled meeting of the Wareham, Upton & Lytchett branch.
